Through Apr 15thFamilies with children and audiences of all ages are invited to be part of a new tradition for spring with Mark Foehringer‘s Alice In Wonderland, a 50-minute production of Lewis Carroll’s classic children’s story at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. This special production is danced storytelling that is affordable, magical, zany, fun, and sure to engage children with the performing arts.
Foehringer uses his choreographic skills in contemporary dance and ballet to craft a show that is sure to thrill dance newcomers and the most jaded balletomane. See all of the favorite Alice In Wonderland characters in beautiful costumes performing on a colorful set with live chamber orchestra music.
Maestro Michael Morgan of The Oakland Symphony serves as Music Director for the nine-piece orchestra and arranged the music specially for this show. Award-winning scenic designer Peter Crompton provides the set design. Former ODC dancer Brian Fisher returns as a popular character from Alice In Wonderland.
