Melody of China will collaborate with Indian tabla master Swapan Chaudhuri and the Ali Akbar College of Music for a concert that features traditional Chinese and Indian repertoires. The event will spotlight a new work by Mr. Chaudhuri and feature the world premiere of a new piece in the style of the Beijing Opera by composer Gang Situ with Melody of China and a guest vocalist.

This performance by Melody of China and Swapan Chaudhuri are hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 25 – June 4 exclusively at FMCAC.
