Pull Me Closer

San Francisco International Arts Festival

Through May 28th

“Pull Me Closer” by LEVYdance uses interactivity and dance to explores intersection of loneliness and togetherness. The 20-minute piece explores how bodily vibrations and pulses can pull individuals together or push them apart. A sequence of solos, duets, and trios transforms the dancers into energy and movement. Dance movements and the dancers’ bodies become abstracted in space — drawing geometric lines and shapes that reflect the dynamics of social interactions. Levy Dance appears as part of a triple bill with Alyce Finwall Dance Theater and Eve Mutso.

These performances by LEVYdance are hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 25 – June 4 exclusively at FMCAC. The Festival features more than 100 performances by over 60 different artists, ensembles and companies. Get discounts on tickets to see multiple shows at the Festival by buying a Festival pass.
