For Summer 2023, the San Francisco Children’s Art Center (SFCAC) at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) offers in-person camp options for children ages five through 10 years old (grades kindergarten through five). The weekly summer camps run from Monday, June 5, 2023 through Friday, August 11, 2023 on weekdays. SFCAC also has weekly classes for two to five year olds from Wednesday, June 7, 2023 through Saturday, August 12, 2023. (No classes the week of July 1, 2023 to July 7, 2023.)

“Young Artists Workshops” are for children in kindergarten through grade one (5 to 6 years). The workshops meet in-person, Mondays through Fridays, June 5, 2023 to June 19, 2023; July 10, 2023 to July 14, 2023; and July 31, 2023 to August 4, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and cost $275 per week.

“Little Art Makers: Side By Side” classes are for children ages two to three years old accompanied by an adult caregiver. The classes meet in-person on Wednesdays, June 7, 2023, through August 9, 2023, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and cost $220 for nine (9) weeks. Drop-in class sessions cost $35 each. (No class Wednesday, July 5, 2023.)

“Art Studio I” classes are for children ages three to five years old. The classes meet in-person on Fridays, June 9, 2023 through August 11, 2023, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., and cost $260 for nine (9) weeks. Drop-in class sessions cost $40 each. (No class Friday, July 7, 2023.)

“Art Studio II” classes are for children ages three and one-half to five and one-half years old. The classes meet in-person on Saturdays, June 10, 2023, through August 12, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. (noon), and cost $300 for nine (9) weeks. Drop-in class sessions cost $45 each. (No class Saturday, July 1, 2023.)

“Land, Sea & City” Week 1 for grades two through five is available Monday through Friday, June 12, 2023 to June 16, 2023, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and costs $550. “Land, Sea & City” Week 2 for grades two through five meets Monday through Friday, July 17, 2023 to July 21, 2023, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and costs $550. “Land, Sea & City” Week 3 for grades two through five meets Monday through Friday, August 7, 2023 to August 11, 2023, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and costs $550.

“Art & Science / Photo Explorers” is two workshops in one for children grades two through five and happens Monday through Friday, June 19, 2023 to June 23, 2023, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and costs $550.

“MAD (Music, Art, Drama) Camp” for grades one through five takes place Monday through Friday, June 26, 2023 to June 30, 2023, 10:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and costs $625. This camp is a collaboration between SFCAC, Young Performers Theatre, and Blue Bear School Of Music. Reserve space through Blue Bear.

“Drawing & Painting” / “Architectural Sculpture” is also two workshops in one for children in grades two through five. “Drawing & Painting” / “Architectural Sculpture” takes place Monday through Friday, July 24, 2023 to July 28, 2023, 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m and costs $550.
