San Francisco Art Institute | Fort Mason Campus

Through Nov 11th

The San Francisco Art Institute (SFAI) | Fort Mason Campus welcomes the public to “Concentrate 2018: Student Art Sale + Open Studios” weekend at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. The all-campus art sale offers work from SFAI undergraduates, graduate students, and faculty. “Open Studios” supplies insights into the working processes of more than 100 emerging artists and scholars engaged in artistic pursuits across multiple mediums.

Enjoy diverse artworks, stimulating conversations and local food and drink and celebrate emerging artists. Take advantage of the expansive salon-style art sale, studio tours, film screenings, and a lively arts scene. Meet the next generation of artists working in SFAI’s Graduate Studios at the Fort Mason Campus.

The sale and open studios occur along with the Graduate Fall Open House on Saturday, November 10, 2018, from 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The open house features a Master of Fine Arts-focused tour of the campus, the opportunity to meet faculty, alumni, and current students at “Open Studios,” and chances to learn more about alumni ventures.

Saturday morning kicks off with Jon Rubin unveiling a new banner at 11:15 a.m. He will give a lecture at 1:00 p.m. A screening of Shadow Master takes place at 2:00 p.m. in SFAI’s Gray Box Gallery. Shadow Master is a documentary film by SFAI alumni Larry Reed, who is present for a question-and-answer session following the screening.

Free Admission (Please RSVP in advance for the “Open House.”)
