In partnership with Embark Gallery, “Enact” features a cross section of contemporary performance art by performing and visual artists Minoosh Zomorodinia, Christopher Squier, Lorenzo Cardim and Marissa Katarina Bergmann and dancer Sydney Devine. In three acts, the performances utilizes light, sound and movement to give life to components of the human experience and highlighting the power of individual action. The piece — directed by Tania Houtzager and produced by Angelica Jardini — addresses issues from humankind’s response to natural disaster to the relationship with historical architecture.
These performances by Embark Gallery are hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 19 – June 5 exclusively at FMCAC.
