San Francisco International Arts Festival 2018

Presented By

Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture & SFIAF

Through Jun 2nd

Artpaul Cartier presents “Linking Arms,” a silent image montage of events and incidents marking historic, watershed moments in civil rights struggles at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. “Linking Arms” displays images from the 1968 civil rights era, such as the San Francisco State University student strike to raise awareness or the need for classes and academic programs about ethnic diversity. The exhibit also features post-1968 civil rights and pro-democracy events, including the January 2018 Women’s March in San Francisco.

Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) hosts this exhibit by Artpaul Cartier as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 24, 2018 to June 3, 2018 exclusively at FMCAC. The Festival features more than 60 performances by close to 40 different artists, ensembles, and companies. Get discounts on tickets to see multiple shows at the Festival by buying a Festival pass.
