Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery

About: Frozen in the late ’60s when his nemesis Dr. Evil (Mike Myers) went into hibernation, British special agent Austin Powers (Myers) remains in cryostasis in case Evil ever reappears. In the movie that launched the spy spoof phenomena, Austin Powers: International Man Of Mystery, the time to thaw out has arrived in the swingin’ mid-’90s.

However, Dr. Evil finds that a lot has changed — his nefarious empire is now worth billions thanks to henchman Number Two (Robert Wagner)’s efforts. Evil also has an angsty emo son, Scott Evil (Seth Greene), who has a lot of abandonment issues. Nevertheless, Dr. Evil gets back to what he does best and soon hatches a megalomaniac plot to blow up the Earth’s core and spark global eruptions. Austin and agent Vanessa Kensington (Elizabeth Hurley) must save the day, which of course involves massive explosions in an underground crime lord lair.
