“Brotherhood, honor, loyalty, assassination – which one is the strongest?

Exiled (2006)

About: Ex-gangsters, aging hitmen, fixers, unlikely capers for gold, snappy sunglasses, and gang showdowns are all in the mix with Johnnie To’s 2006 Hong Kong non-stop action cinema hit, Exiled (2006). A former mobster Wo (Nick Cheung) is trying to live a peaceful life in exile in Macau, but he can’t seem to escape his past. A mob boss bent on revenge sends two elderly hitmen to rub out Wo, but another pair shows up to save him.

The practical criminals decide to join forces and crack another score. Yet another botched killing results in more uneasy alliances and plans for a grand gold heist from corrupt government agents. Bullets keep flying and the gang ranks gradually grow thinner until a final shootout settles everything with honor.
