The True Cost of American Food is a conference that brings together sustainable food leaders and citizens for thoughtful lectures surrounding topics such as the food business, soil issues, public health, waste issues and more.

The conference at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture highlights different issues plaguing the current, mainstream food system and ends with a “Call to Action.” With the last day of the conference featuring various trips to sustainable food businesses, such as Stemple Creek Ranch & Cowgirl Creamery, The Chocolate Garage & Dandelion Chocolate, and others.
