The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe

Presented By

Young Performers Theatre

Through Dec 16th

For the holiday season 2018, Young Performers Theatre presents The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe, a charming play about courage, freedom, and helping others, at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. The Lion, The Witch, and The Wardrobe is based on the first volume in C.S. Lewis’ beloved six-title epic, The Chronicles of Narnia. All of the Narnia books are classic, magical, children’s fairy tales featuring iconic characters, talking animals, and battles between good and evil.

Four siblings live in an English country home with a mysterious wardrobe, which leads to a mythical kingdom cursed with endless winter by an unhappy witch. The children meet wonderful animals and enchanted forest people, who long for the return of their lion king, Aslan, who ruled Narnia in eternal summer. The children help their new friends break the wintry spell and restore Aslan to his throne — but fierce wars and sacrifices must be made before victory is declared.
