May 26th @ 7:00 p.m.The Oakland-based group MO’FONE, featuring two saxmen and one drummer, is some of the “funkiest jazz– and jazziest funk–being played today.” With inventive, original, and high-energy compositions, MO’FONE’s unique instrumentation and creates a huge sound that eclipses its compact size. This is shared bill with The Amber and the Sharman Duran Trio.
This performance by MO’FONE is hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 25 – June 4 exclusively at FMCAC.
