Children’s Art Center Fall Art Classes 2018
San Francisco Children's Art Center
Get ready for Fall 2018 with the San Francisco Children’s Art Center (SFCAC) at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. SFCAC has three Big Kids (grades kindergarten through fifth grade) Afternoon Weekly Workshops ready to inspire creating, collaborating, and sharing through visual arts.
Each week (Monday-Saturday) offers wide-ranging explorations of different ideas and materials to inspire art-making. “Architectural Sculpture,” “Painting & Drawing,” and “Photo Explorers” workshops (1.5-hour classes, $342; $35/drop-in session) offer deep investigations into the challenges and choices found in two- and three-dimensional forms.
The weekly classes for younger kids (22 months to 5 years) meet on weekday and Saturday mornings and provide age-appropriate art instruction and activities through “Art Studio I” (1.5-hour classes, $346; $35/drop-in session), “Art Studio II” (two-hour classes, $378; $45/drop-in session), “Homeschool Art Studio” (two-hour classes, $378; $45/drop-in session), “Little Art Makers” (one-hour classes, $252; $30/drop-in session), and “Side By Side” (one-hour classes, $252; $30/drop-in session, for children and adult caregivers).
There are no classes during Thanskgiving week (Monday, November 19, 2018 through Saturday, November 24, 2018).
Prices vary per class and drop-ins for individual class sessions are welcome (one-hour classes $30, 1.5-hour classes $35, and two-hour classes $45).
