Celebrate the Academy Awards and Oscar nominee and Magic Theatre board member Colman Domingo at a live stream watch party hosted by Magic in Young Performers Theatre, Building D, Third Floor, at Fort Mason Center For Arts & Culture. Colman Domingo is a longtime Magic collaborator and a great friend of Magic’s Artistic/Lead Director Sean San José. Domingo’s new piece premieres at Magic in 2025.

Magic live streams the Academy Awards and offers drinks and small bites for participants. Arrive early at 3:00 p.m. to warm up for the ceremony starting at 4:00 p.m.

Colman Domingo is nominated for a Best Actor Academy Award for his performance in Rustin. Bayard Rustin, advisor to Martin Luther King Jr., dedicates his life to the quest for racial equality, human rights, and worldwide democracy. However, as an openly gay Black man, he is all but erased from the civil rights movement he helped build.

Tickets for this special party cost $100 and can be purchased in advance.
