Bahiya Movement presents the multidisciplinary performance piece Weighted Acceptance at Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture. Weighted Acceptance fuses dance, music, and poetic storytelling. The performance seeks to strengthen urban communities by increasing the understanding of the oppressive weights people of color share and carry. Weighted Acceptance provides a safe space for all to heal through movement and spoken word.
