Sharman Duran Trio

San Francisco International Arts Festival

May 26th @ 7:00 p.m.

Sharman Duran is a vocalist and songwriter comfortable with the complexities of jazz. Sharing the bill with both The Amber and MO’FONE, Duran pairs harmonic depth with philosophical nuanced-lyrics in this performance. Sharing works from her CD “Postapocalyptic Subterranean Paradise” (Germain/Duran), the pieces are a dark-humor take on the world after global warming has scorched the Earth, and how coping with it may not be as bad as believed.

This performance by Sharman Duran is hosted by Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture (FMCAC) as part of the San Francisco International Arts Festival, which runs from May 25 – June 4 exclusively at FMCAC. The Festival features more than 100 performances by over 60 different artists, ensembles and companies. Get discounts on tickets to see multiple shows at the Festival by buying a Festival pass.
