Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture presented an artist talk with Sophie Calle in conversation with Evelyne Jouanno, Director of Ars Citizen and curator of Missing. Calle discussed her immersive works, for which she uses facets of her life to create transcendent experiences addressing themes such as death and heartbreak.

This event occurred in tandem with Missing, a thoughtful survey of Calle’s most emblematic projects from the last decade — Rachel Monique, Take Care of Yourself, The Last Image, and Voir la mer — presentied in a dramatic setting along the San Francisco waterfront.
